Thomas Tuchel was frustrated to lose star winger Kingsley Coman to yet another injury ahead of Bayern Munich's clash against Arsenal on Wednesday.

Coman had to be helped off the pitch in Bayern's 2-0 win over Koln in a major setback for Tuchel's team. The Frenchman withdrew from the action after just 50 minutes and was replaced by Jamal Musiala in a worrying sight for Bayern fans. The 27-year-old has a supposed muscle injury and, to Tuchel's sorrow, may miss the rest of the campaign.

Speaking after the game, Tuchel told : "The big downside to the whole game is the injury to Kingsley Coman. It makes me very sad because I know how hard he worked and how important he is for us. First Serge Gnabry is out, then he and Leroy Sane are doubts [for Wednesday]."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
With Coman definitely out for the game on Wednesday, Bayern's injury problems out-wide are deepened. Tuchel explained that Sane and Gnabry are touch-and-go with regards to their availability and will leave Bayern sweating on their fitness. Arsenal visit Munich in the Champions League quarter-final second-leg on Wednesday with the tie in the balance after last week's 2-2 draw.

Bayern will watch to see if Bayer Leverkusen win the Bundesliga on Sunday which would confirm the Champions League as the only possible chance of silverware left this season. If they beat Arsenal, they will progress to a semi-final against Manchester City or Real Madrid.
