The 21-year-old forward endured a largely frustrating 2023-24 campaign, with a pre-season injury setting him back while looking to build on a productive loan spell at Sunderland. Amad did slowly come into favour under Erik ten Hag, scoring in FA Cup and Premier League wins over Liverpool and Newcastle.
