Fenerbahce have been drawn to play Rangers in the last-16, the first of a few potential trips back to the UK for Mourinho. The entire Europa League road has been mapped out, so every team can see their path to the final in Bilbao in May.

Should Fenerbahce reach the quarter-finals, Mourinho could face the first of three former clubs on the way to winning the trophy. Roma play Athletic Bilbao in the adjacent tie and would meet the Turkish side should both teams get through. If Mourinho's men come through that one, a tie with Manchester United – who he managed between 2016-18 – could await. United play Real Sociedad in the last-16 and would have FCSB or Lyon next. Should Fenerbahce go all the way, a final against Tottenham could be their prize. That would mean Mourinho would face his third consecutive former side.
DID YOU KNOW?
Mourinho has previously won the Europa League as a manager, leading Man Utd to the trophy in the 2016-17 campaign when they beat Ajax 2-0 in the final. He also won the Conference League with Roma in 2022 and is the only manager to get his hands on all three major European club trophies.
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR FENERBAHCE?
For now, Mourinho will be focused on getting past Rangers in the last 16, the Scottish side having finished the higher of the two in the league stage. Should victory in that one be achieved, the ultimate revenge tour is on.
