da betsul： Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira became the latest midfielder to be linked with a move to Goodison Park last week, after it was revealed the wiry midfielder has an incredibly cheap £22million release clause.
Torreira, who is expected to star for Uruguay this summer in Russia, has had a remarkable season in Serie A, and would be a massive show of ambition for if the Toffees could secure his signature.
Napoli and Arsenal are also chasing the 22 year-old, so Everton could turn their attention to towering defensive midfielder William Carvalho.

Carvalho was a monster for Portugal at Euro 2016, and has already worked with new Everton boss Marco Silva during Silva’s time at Sporting CP.
According to Sky Sports, the Portuguese club are “actively seeking a transfer” for the midfielder this summer, but it seems Everton fans would rather move for Torreira, as 58 per cent voted to sign the Uruguayan instead.
The 22 year-old, valued at £27m by Transfermarkt, can do a little bit of everything, averaging 2.8 tackles, two interceptions, one dribble and one key pass per game last season. In fact, his ability to break up play but also make things happen going forward would probably make him an upgrade on Idrissa Gueye, who can only do the former.
