da 888casino: Watford continue to wait for Daryl Janmaat to be back available for selection following the defender’s knee injury, which required surgery.
Janmaat has been out of action since the Hornets’ 1-1 draw with Fulham at the end of September, with the ever-present right-back forging himself as an integral part of Javi Garcia’s plans.
The Netherlands international, who has been capped 34 times by his country, has since missed his side’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup, as well as Premier League matches against Arsenal and Bournemouth, and the UEFA Nations League clash with Germany which the Dutch won 3-0.

Holland’s victory over the 2014 World Cup winners was the only time a Janmaat-less side has won since the right-back was sidelined, compared to Watford dropping just five of a possible 18 points over the opening six match days.
Further matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Huddersfield, and Newcastle United all come too soon for the Dutchman to feature, but Premier Injuries’ expected return date of November 10th puts the full-back in line to be involved against Southampton at St Mary’s.
Spreading the play
With Janmaat ruled out, Arsenal regularly took to the left hand side of the pitch for their attacks on way to a 2-0 home win over the Hornets.
The Gunners’ heat map for the Emirates encounter highlights a preference to pry on a potentially weaker position with the ever-present right-back replaced by the 23-year-old Marc Navarro.
Likewise, Watford utilised the left hand of their team slightly more against the Gunners but still put a lot of faith in the boy from Barcelona. The faith, however, did not last and Kiko Femenia replaced Navarro for the visit of Bournemouth.
No repeats from Femenia
With Janmaat unavailable for the trips to Wolves and Newcastle and the home tie with Huddersfield, there can be no repeats of the Bournemouth game for Femenia if selected to start again.
Bournemouth trounced the Hornets 4-0 despite having fewer shots overall and only just edging the home side for possession, and the Spaniard managed just one successful tackle all afternoon.
