da apostaganha: According to the Daily Mail, West Brom have enquired about the availability of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Victor Wanyama, with a view to bringing the 27-year-old to the Hawthorns in January.
What’s the word?
da esport bet: Despite the Baggies’ interest, Wanyama has no interest in joining Darren Moore’s squad as he does not want to drop down into the Championship, and wants to stick with Spurs and fight for his place in Mauricio Pochettino’s first team instead.
If Moore wants to bolster his midfield contingent ahead of the remainder of the gruelling Championship campaign, it looks like he’ll have to identify a new target to pursue.
Instead of Wanyama, West Brom should set their sights on Gent midfielder Anderson Esiti instead.

An injection of youth
Esiti’s attributes are similar to Wanyama’s, but the 24-year-old represents a far more realistic target for the Baggies to acquire in the upcoming January transfer window.
The 6’2” Nigeria international has impressed in the Belgian top flight so far this season with his strength and defensive discipline, and with a Transfermarkt valuation of just £2.7 million, Moore could probably attract him to England with a minimum of fuss.
The Baggies need to strengthen in the middle of the park, especially if they are to maintain their bid for promotion straight back into the Premier League. They also need some youth injected alongside the likes of Jake Livermore and Gareth Barry.
Esiti would be the perfect central midfield partner for Livermore, and could even be the ideal long-term replacement for Barry.
