da prosport bet: Of Tottenham’s new summer signings, versatile forward Son Heung-min looks like the most impressive and the player ready to make a real impact for the North London club in their efforts to finish in the top four this season.
da stake casino: The South Korea international has a sizeable reputation given his exploits for his country and in the Bundesliga with firstly Hamburg then Bayer Leverkusen, with the hype starting to build around White Hart Lane.
With homegrown hero Harry Kane struggling to get amongst the goals this season and few able deputies, Son’s addition has been signed to provide another option in the number nine role, Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed.
However, in the Argentine’s 4-2-3-1 system the Asian attacker is more than good enough to feature in any of the four attacking roles and has experience of doing as much despite his young age.

As such, and considering the other players available to Pochettino, where should Son be used if everyone is available?
There certainly is an argument for using Son as the furthest man forward, with the 23-year-old having a solid goal ratio wherever he has played.
Against Qarabag last Thursday in the Europa League, the gifted forward was used as a striker and effectively won the game for the London side with two goals.
Using him as a striker would allow Kane to drop into the number ten role, where he has shown he is more than capable of playing, or if Pochettino saw fit, it would allow the England international to take a rest for certain games.
Against Crystal Palace at the weekend, Son was used in the number ten role directly behind Kane and again hit the back of the net, scoring the deciding goal in a 1-0 victory.
This position seemed to bring the South Korean into play more often that any of the other roles he has played so far in his brief stint at Tottenham – with Pochettino’s men looking much more dangerous as a result.
His link-up play with his fellow attackers was excellent and there is certainly an enviable creative side to the star’s game that Spurs should look to utilise.
Son also played on the right-hand side of the attack against Sunderland, and although he did not have a huge impact, he is a substantial upgrade on the current options in the role, Andros Townsend and Erik Lamela.
Pochettino has struggled to find a consistent player to operate on the right in his time at Tottenham, with a case to suggest that Son could be that man.
Looking at it objectively if everyone is fit, playing Christian Eriksen in the number ten role is always a positive option, as the Dane is the club’s most creative and technically gifted player.
However, for the balance of the side, it may well be that shunting the former Ajax man out to a flank, like has been done frequently over the last 12 months, could be best for the balance of the team.
This would allow Son to play behind Kane, with Eriksen on one flank and Nacer Chadli on the other.
There is certainly fluidity in the final third for Pochettino to consider, with a number of players able to operate in varying positions.
However, if the White Hart Lane side are to make the promised land of the top four, the Argentine surely must decide on his best configuration in attack.
